Agree with you. I think you just need to run and run because that is the first thing you need, conditioning. When you begin to run a good 4-6 miles at a consistant pace with no problem, then take yourself to the boxing gym where you could learn the footwork. You need footwork before you need to learn how to throw. What's the point of throwing a jab if you don't know how to move your feet.
