He's gonna get better but I don't see him becoming a 'great' boxer. He will be there among the 'also-rans'. His chin is suspect. He has no defense. He is young and he will improve you say? He will, but not much. Defense is an instinct, and you should 'really' watch his fights to see he lacks such trait.

You should see all his fights before making a judgment. I agree his chin may be suspect but people were also saying that with the Pacman. Now they don't really know if the Pacman has a weak or strong chin. His fights with Barrera, Marquez,Morales, and Ledwaba can give us a hint that the guy may have really a granite chin.

His losses to Torrecampo and to that Thai (can't remember if Thai or Korean) had been plagued with issues. his loss against torrecampo was because of body shot.Look at the body of Pacquaio now.Bums like Torrecampo or even great fighters like Barrera will have a hard knocking Pacquaio thru body shots now. His defeat from that Thai was because of exhaustion as Pacquaio was trying to lose weight. He was actually disqualified already because of weight.

Now let me go back to BAutista, the guy is still to young. He is only 20 years old. He has still lots to learn. His body can still be molded. His style can still be improved.Again, going back to pacquaio, the pacman has no style before. Bautista is a lot better than Pacquaio, when the Pacman was of the same age as BAutista.

Let's just wait for the guy to ripe.

It's either Pac has granite chin or he's just really good of shaking it off everytime he gets rocked.

shaking off a punch from Marquez, Morales, and Barrera in seconds? Don't think so. Those guys are hard hitting punchers. Guys with glass chins will definitely go down before the end of the 3rd round with those named Mexican boxers. They are not considered legendary for nothing.

hmmm. most probably. those guys are not really that hard hitting so Pacquaio must have easily shaked off the daze from their punches.

I just saw team Phil on Wowowee! Domingo, Banal, Gorrez, Penalosa, and Bautista. Gabi wasn't there.

The show did a good job of cheering up Boom-boom. Willie Revillame even kissed him in the forehead.

Yep. Willie jokingly sung "Boom Tara" lol! After Rey's hand was broken (confirmed) from sparring with Gerry, Willie was actually blaming Penalosa why Rey got beaten. Gerry just shoke and scratched his head. I thought that was hillarious .

hehehe. If Boom-boom baustita's hand were really broken during the fight, the guy then is not truly hopeless.

If he had a broken hand and was against one of the best in the division, surely he wouldnt have fought him?

i know its a joke but did RB lost because of a broken hand?
is he using that as an excuse?

RB has lousy defence thats why he got tagged, so even if he has two broken hands its useless anyways since he wasnt using it to cover up his chin. gets mo na pare?
