The fighters Hatton never faced list.......

Um actually except for Kostya and Cotto there hasnt been a great deal of talent at 140 recently. The fact Ricky hasnt moved weight much makes it a harder list to write.
Dammit i really wanted to discredit Ricky here!!!
No doubt Ray Oliveira, Michael Stewart, Carlos Vilches and Dennis Pedersen were the best available fighters to face at that time.
It's called 'being brought along at the right pace' Which is why Hatton is where he is now!! e could've fought somebody too good too soon and be nowhere. Fact is he beat Tszyu & Castillo and is now fighting PBF, so you need to find a new argument spud gun
Bullshit. Mayweather fought Genaro Hernandez, Angel Manfredy, Goyo Vargas and Diego Corrales in his first 25 fights. And look where he's at today. Come up with better excuses, Little one

To be the best you must beat the best!

    1) Cotto 2)Margarito 3) Hatton 4) Williams 5) Mosley...Need I say more. Not taking anything away from floyd, he's good and all but you must fight the best at every division you stop at. Not fight Judah and Baldomir and then go up knowing you have Mosley, Maragrito and Cotto still left to fight. Fought Gatti for the 140 belt and avoided then champion Miguel Cotto and still champion Hatton. ? I've said it all along, PBF knows how to pick his fights and opponents.
Who says those guys are the best

Cotto- Needs to be reavaluated after the Mosely fight to seal his legitimacy as worldbeater status seeing he has done nothing but pick the remaining meat off the carcasses of Fighters Mayweather has already beat

Margarito- Anybody who wasnt a rabid fan of the guy knew that he wasnt anything special to begin with

Williams has the abiltiy to trouble and create hell for anyone 147-160

Mosely- is still pretty dangerous at 35 and the most bona fied fighter on the list that has an established Hall Of Fame legacy fighting pretty much the way he was in his prime.

To me Mosely is the only one at this present time that gives Mayweather more impact on his resume and legacy
We will see if Cotto need to be reevaluated after the Mosley fight. You guys continue to picture Mosley as a god at 147. I'm sorry, He is not. If he was as powerful as you guys continue to say he is, he would've been able to knock down Oscar sometime in their 2 fights after landing all those overhand rights. Sugar Shane was Sugar shane at 135. He has only been a good Mosley since. Look and watch his fights and look as his record since moving up. Cotto is going to shock the boxing world. Mosley has nothing else to prove, he's just looking for a mega fight. Cotto has alot to prove. This is his chance!!!!

I recall Oscar barely ever getting knocked down in his entire career.

Cotto, on the other hand, has a big problem of getting knocked down by mediocre fighters.

So is Mayweather a typical fighter?? Or is he a little bit special ??

Look at MAB or JCC and see how many fights they had before they stepped up to world class and they seemed to do ok too

I think the fact that Hatton is 42-0 and fighting the biggest name in boxing in Las Vegas is probably the end of the argument about whether his career has been brought along in the correct way.

I'll never get tired of saying that in 1999-2000

PBF vs. Freitas would have been a very interesting fight.

I would have put some serious money on Freitas to win.

Than you would of lost your money. Freitas didn't just all of a sudden lose his heart. He never had one. He was just never exposed back than.

Well I like to think Freitas had will and heart back then, now today I don't think so.
Freitas was dropped, rocked and hurt in fights early on in his career. He would get back up or recover and comeback and win.

The fight was there to be made, Suarez (trainer of Freitas at the time) had already began preparing Popo for the fight that never came.
I just think for the PBF of that time a fighter like Freitas would have given him lot's of problems.

If you asked me who I would have preferred Mayweather to fight Corrales, Frietas or Cassamajor I would have said Corrales. I am glad it worked that way because it was an excellent beat down.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
