I'm just curious to know which knockdowns/knockouts are everyone's favorites. My list of favorites are as follows:
Muhammad Ali vs George Foreman - Round 8
Ali just sits on the ropes and absorbs punishment for 8 rounds then within 20 seconds and one major Ali flurry, down goes Foreman!!!
Thomas Hearns vs Pipino Cuevas - Round 2
Hearns jabs and jabs and jabs, then BOOM, straight right hand down the pipe. Cuevas does some backstreet boy type dance move then crashes onto the canvas.
Kostya Tszyu vs Zab Judah - Round 2
Judah is basically dominating the fight. Tszyu catches him with a straight right, Judah falls flat on his back. Judah gets up, does a jumping jack without the arm movement, points at the ref, then trips over an imaginary rope and proceeds to fall in an "L"-shaped trajectory.
Manny Pacquiao vs Fashung 3K Battery - Round 6
3K gets up from a knockdown. Pacquiao throws a right hook, he realizes 3K is guarding pretty heavy for the hook. Pacquiao then feints a right hook, 3K guards heavy then attempts to throw a counter right, but in the middle of his counter, Pacquiao has already thrown a left uppercut that sends 3K airborne into the canvas.
Oscar De La Hoya vs Fernando Vargas - Round 11
Vargas has already ran out of steam at this point. DLH stoops down to go for the body but then he throws a quick left hook to Vargas' pie hole. I think this is one of the quickest punches I've ever seen. I remember watching it live and wondering "What the hell happened?!" Then i remember watching it a couple more times saying the exact same thing. It was a good punch.
Darnell Wilson vs Emmanuel Nwodo - Round 11
Nwodo was in serious trouble and i honestly thought the fight should've been stopped earlier. If a boxer turns his back towards his opponent and runs away like he was running from a ghost, i think he's had enough. Either way, Nwodo is stuck on the ropes, Wilson throws a right hook (which is blocked), then follows it up with a left hook (this was not) and Nwodo's head is detached from his neck!
