    Default Diet coke plus

They're now gonna make coke with vitamins in it and apparently pepsi isn't that far behind. As far as marketing (yes the only reasons they're making "healthy" coke is because their sales are down) goes, this is genius. Now its not gonna be loaded with every type of vitamin known to man (which is good because apparently ingesting high amounts of every vitamin day in and day out greatly increases your chance of fatal prostate cancer) but b6 and b12 are important for kids to get so it'll help.

If they can put vitamins inside something that is essentially acid, sugar, dye, and capable of cleaning driveways, why not put them in other unhealthy things or everything for that matter?

I've never had it but according to the taste tests they gave, most said the taste was exactly the same while there were a few nuts that claimed it tasted better than regular diet coke (placebo effect i guess).

I just noticed that a serving of skitles has like a 30% DV of vitamin C. Does that mean they count as a serving from the fruit and vegetable group?

Diet coke+ and skittles diet anyone?

I had it in Vegas. Tastes just like Coke Zero...in which case I'd by the vitamin version.

Maybe all these athletes will start drinking "DC+" to get their competitive edge.

I wonder which sport will be the first to outlaw coca cola as performance enhancing? :P

Any soft drink that has zero fat, zero calories and zero fucking...kryptonite has got to be bad for you.

I was told Diet Coke has a soft liquid plastic substance in it which blocks the parts of your stomach which absorb vital vitamamins. How much truth is in it I don't know. Makes you think though what is the flavour your tasting?

Well acids and sugars are pretty much in everything....but it's the ARTIFICIAL stuff that's bad for everyone.

If I drink Coke it's either with liquor or just as a desert as it's full of empty calories and I'd rather get those from beer

None of it is good for you by any stretch of the imagination. Pepsi is loaded with phosphoric acid which is far worse than anything they put in coke. It wears down the enamel in your teeth and reduces bone strength unless you offset it by taking in a lot of calcium. I dunno about that but the artificial sweetener they use desensitizes the body to calories so you can't guage just how much you're eating.

Its not loaded with everything but the things it does have are usually pretty hard to get a lot of because the foods they're in are horrible

I think it was sometime during the 70's. But that's still the best marketing idea to date.
