Briggs should be THE dominant heavyweight but he isn't for reasons that are and aren't his fault.

First, Briggs is lazy. Rather that roadworking and coming in somewhere below 240 he's chosen to stack on a ton of muscle. Good for really short fights and he probably has the single hardest punch in the division, but any fighter who can stretch him across at least 6 rounds has a significantly higher chance of avoiding that punch. And it's probably because of Briggs' asthma. He could put in as much roadwork as he wanted but the minute an attack comes on that's all for nothing. Briggs is gifted naturally, but he's chosen to waste those talents, putting on clubs instead of knives to get the job done.
