There are a number of approaches to this

a) That was the shortest retirement I have ever seen

b) Hatton calling him out is reason to fight him and yet Margarito was
not worth fighting and was talking way more

c) His comments on Cotto are also annoying, it isnt as though Floyd hasnt
himself topped up his record by preying upon fighters with losses to
their name.

The lure of money and fame is much stronger than keeping a record clean. It's difficult to be content when you're still young.
