The way I see it. Nobody could go toe to toe with Tito and expect to win. Too many people tried it and they all failed. Among them some pretty big pounchers as I listed in another post.

Hearns on the other hand was beaten at his own game by both Hagler and Leonard. I know both of these guys are all time greats, but the fact remains that that never happend to Tito, not once. The only men to beat Tito were defensive minded fighters who out boxed him

Tito was sort of the bully type of fighter. He punched when he knew he could, Tommy would go to war even when the chips were down. Hearns was just a better fighter. Hearns by knockout in round 4.
