i can see it being a hard faught fight but as Kat said the best man will win the fight. I think Hattons best chance of doing it will by stopping floyd and floyds best chance is to box to a decision. I cant see floyd trading with him.

It depends on the style that Hatton uses if he gets a beat down or not. If he fights the same way Jesus Chavez did the he will get raped but if he fights a smart fight and pushes Mayweather into the ropes and keeps him there then he has every chance of pulling off the upset. Either way he will not KO Mayweather not in a million years. Floyds defense is too good and he has a decent chin so i cant see it happening. Castillo got KOed because he was an old fighter who had suffered from his war against Corrales and the only reason he KOed Corrales 2nd time is because of his big weight advantage.

Now for Hatton to get the victory in this fight he will have to cut the ring off use his jab to force Mayweather into the ropes and pick his spots carefully otherwise he will be on the end of nasty counters. He must keep away from the centre of the ring at all cost as Mayweather will pot shot and get out of there as fast as he can. He must ignore the crowd and not try n take Floyds head off. To be honest it depends on how much Floyd has improved since the Castillo fight and how much he has learned and if Hatton can stick to his gameplan all night long.

A lot of people are writing Hatton off based on the Collazo fight but we need to forget that fight as he was a big welterweight. It will be interesting to see what weight each fighter will come in at. Will Floyd bulk up a bit to hold his ground and will Hatton come in as close to 147 as possible so hes a little bit quicker than usual. One thing i know for sure if Floyd tastes Hattons power and can take then the agressive Floyd of 130lbs may come out to play and we may have a fight of the year candidate on our hands.
