I usually keep quiet with these types of comments in other forums but please lets not do the hand wraps argument here. There has never been any proof or any official complaint. Is there even an official hand wrapping procedure? All I know, all anyone knows is that Hopkins camp asked Tito to re wrap his hand (never understood why it was just one hand either) before one fight. He had three fights after that and two ended in KO. You would think if there was a complaint, someone would be looking for it in future fights right.

The answer to part of your question....Yes there is an official hand wrapping procedure.....There is a limit on how much tape you are allowed to use...( varies by organization and state).....Limit on Gauze ( same as before it varies).....Problem in thyat fight was too much tape....Tape is not to exceed gauze under any circumstances

Thanks for the info Daxx. News to me. My argument still stands though.

I've said it in other threads, and I'll say it here:

I'm the biggest Tito fan there is, and I'm not happy at all about him taking a fight with Jones Jr.

    1. Tito beat Joppy and Mayorga at 160, but lost to lopsidedly to Hopkins and Winky. If he couldn't dominate at 160, how can he be expected to dominate at 170?

    2. Jones Jr. has fought at HW. No matter how lousy John Ruiz is, he still punches like a HW, and Jones Jr. must've gotten at least nicked by one or two punches. If he can stand in there with Ruiz, Trinidad's hooks shouldn't faze him too much.

    3. Tito is going into this fight without tune-ups. Brave, to be sure... but not the best decision.

    4. Jones Jr. may be on the downhill side, but he's still fast and slippery as hell. And his unorthodox style will make things even harder for Tito.

Hey don't get me wrong. I'll be cheering my lungs out for Tito. But my logical brain tells me chances are Tito's gonna be in for a long night. I'm thinking wide margin UD, rather than a KO.
