I good one I saw a few years back was "Triumph of the Spirit", a fact based movie featuring Willem Dafoe as an Olympic boxer in the '40s who ends up in a Nazi concentration camp. He survives by participating in boxing matches staged for the gambling and entertainment of the Nazi officers. A serious movie with gritty depictions of conditions in the Nazi camps.
