As an aside to the previous post, I'd like to add that my friends and I used to have great fun engaging in a variety of senseless combat sports. A favorite was, while wearing steel-toed work boots, to wrap our hands in shop rags and to engage in "kick-boxing" matches. And we were sober!
Oh for the younger days when bones were less brittle.
