I think you're right with many of your comments on this one. I truly think we do have alot of people who jump on bandwagons. I'm not a Hatton fan, I'm not a Mayweather fan, I will watch their fights because I love boxing. I respect MAYWEATHER for his great talent and great fighter that he is, but I don't like the personality he has and the way he disrespects other fighters.Originally Posted by frozensolid_702
I am a COTTO & MOSLEY fan and I didn't want this fight to happen. As of late, I'm seeing more and more people jump on my boy COTTO's bandwagon. I don't like that. I've been seeing this guy fight before he went pro. I saw him in the olympics. Some people didn't even know who he was maybe until about a year ago. Some people don't know about how close he came to dying in a motorcycle accident several years back. DOCTORS said he would never fight again, within a couple months this guy was back in the ring like if nothing because that is how committed he is to fighting. I remember being one of the few that said COTTO will dominate JUDAH and stop him in the late rounds. People said I was crazy and that there was no possible way that COTTO belonged in the ring with a name like JUDAH. There were alot of people who were going for JUDAH (including you) but you've been one of maybe few who have stuck behind your boy 100%. I like that. I love Mosley to death and he is one of my favorite, but I have to be honest and tell you that this is a dream fight for COTTO. This is a fight he really has been waiting for and remember this, COTTO - MOSLEY will give us a great fight, but I really think we will see an awesome performance from COTTO. I just don't think MOSLEY at 36 will be able to take punches in bunches w/o tiring out. I think if he doesn't use his speed to his advantage in the early rounds, he's going to pay. I really don't think MOSLEY has anything to prove anymore. I think he should've called it quits the night he KO'd Vargas. He made a big mistake in taking this fight with COTTO.
Boxing is in for a big surprise come NOV 10TH. This will be an emotional win for COTTO. He's been waiting for the moment to beat a name like MOSLEY his whole career and on that night, you will see that HEART, DEDICATION AND COMMITTMENT will be the factors to a COTTO victory. Nice post though, agree with you on the bandwagon thing.
