What gets me is the people who place so much stock on what writers/experts think.

I mean, just because someone writes for a website/newspaper it doesn't make thier opinion any more valid than yours or mine. Yes, they may have watched a million fights, can wax lyrical about the old days, quote stats, have spoken to trainers, hung out with the fighters...but until the fights over they're guessing just like you and me.

Likewise, how often are the TV pundits/ex fighters wrong or biased towards a particular fighter..?

I agree. These writers oftentimes have biases. I myself tend to be biased especially when my fighter is involved.hehehe.

Like the Mayweather vs Hatton issue, I'd like to see Mayweather going down because it's more interesting to talk about it. If HAtton delivers an upset over Mayweather, everything in boxing will be shaken. That's more of a news.
