It works both ways. An argument can be made that Illegal immigration is a financial drain on the US. An argument can also be made that without Illegal immigrants working in the fields for less than minimum wage, the cost of produce we purchase every day will increase tremendously. Who else will do this type of manual labor for these wages? Why are people so divided on this subject? Because it's a pick your poison situation. There is no black and white answer there needs to be a compromise from both sides of the fence.(
no pun intended) These are hard working people who are just trying to make a better life for their families so I have absolutely nothing against them. I do believe they should attempt to assimilate to the culture, and go through the naturalization process. If you live in the United States your ancestors were immigrants period. This is just history repeating itself.
