I feel bad for ya Preme, because at least I can move away from my crappy neighborhood, but living in a small town would be a lot different (The town I live in has a population of about 300,000-400,000. Here in Canada we have tons of trouble with warring biker gangs and the fucktards that associate with them, but that is seriously unfair that a little kid would get shot because of some moron on a bike.
I agree with you that anyone who takes or destroy's a life should forfeit theirs. The legal system here is a goddamn joke, it seems like its set up to help and protect the peretrator rather than the victims. You can recklessly kill someone here and get less than 2 years in jail, its one of the very few things that makes me wish I lived in the states (no offense to you American's).

Funny thing about a hurricane is it actually brings the people (that still live there) together once it's over. The locals here are much nicer to each other but it's the out of town help that causes problems. The trick is, you can't let it get to you.

Best of luck in your new digs!
You're from N.O.? How is the city doing? Is it as bad as I've seen reported? I've heard the gov't has pretty much abandoned you guys. That hurricane was a tragedy, but the response (from the gov't) was a crime.
