He's a shoe in for the Hall of Fame no doubt, he'll be a first ballot pick the moment he's eligable.
I'd also say he's an all-time great as well.
Boxing at the highest level if often about luck and there is every chance that if Oscar would have his career over, some of those controversial decisions would have gone his way and people would rank him up there with the likes of Pernell Whittaker and Leonard.
Imagine if the Trinidad and second Mosely fight had gone his way, he'd be probably seen as top 20 of all time.
As it is he must still surely make the top 50, probably top 40 and he's not done yet.
I'd give him every chance of beating Hatton, Cotto, Cintron, Forrest, possibly Mosely and who knows maybe even Floyd in a rematch.
Some people talk of him as if he didn't achieve anything and that's crazy. Winning belts in 6 different divisions isn't easy![]()
