need a new car

Me being in the car business 8+ years, I can tell you at least in the states their are 3 cars that stand head and sholders above the rest... in no paticular order

Honda
Toyota
Subaru

All three of those cars will run forever and retain their value in the states more than any other cars in their class

I dont know how much access you have across the pond and how much they cost, but again those 3 cars are the best investmet you can make in 4 wheel transportation

JT would you agree that Hyundai is possibly THEE worst car maker ever?
A friend of mine and I argued whos the worst car maker from the more known brands. I'm sure theres some shitty obscure ones.
He says it's KIA, I say it's Hyundai.

For a time they were complete shiit, about 4-5 years ago they turned the corner big time... they have made big strides to put out a quality long lasting vehicle... I would actually say they have cracked the top 5

I would own a Hyundai before I would buy a car that was made by chevy, ford, dodge, chrysler or kia.... when you start talking SUV'S and their uses and applications I might even be inclined to lean toward them as well over some of the more established american counterparts
