He has beaten more or less the same "big" names, that RRJ has beaten as light heavy...
The thing is there weren't just that many good light heavies out there at that time or
better said that many "big" names...
Yes But Roy Jones was also 4 weight division world champion beating the likes on Hill, Toney, Hopkins,
Yes I know that...thats why I say "as a light heavy"...
And whereas DM might or might not get a HoF place, RJJ absolutely will get one...
I'm just comparing a LHW RJJ with a LHW Michalczewski and even though RJJ was of course
better Michalczewski is probably the next best one as a light heavy weight...
CC#123 JohnnyBoy, I'm with ya' man I think Dariusz is defintely up there with the best.

Mick i see your one of the people that thinks he should be in hall of fame but are you just basing it on title defences ?? because with the names he fought and beat are not HOF worthy.

Quality of opposition is def. a criteria in order to enter the hall, but it's not the only.
As someone else mentioned he fought there during a period in time where there werent any huge names for him to fight and if were gonna get into this yet again it's pretty clear Dariusz was there to fight RJJ, RJJ being the Superstar took his career elsewhere.
I mean he could have fought the WBC champ then who was an already past his best McCallum.
Look at the names of the other champs around that time, tell if they would have helped his career any better.
    William Guthrie, Reggie Johnson.
I'm also willing to beat that even if he would have beat both Tiozzo and Julio we'd still be having this conversation.
Cause get what people would say, well RJJ beat Julio and Hill had already beaten Tiozzo twice.

Im not saying its his fault you can't help if you in weak division thats the way it goes as for RJJ vs Dariusz can you really blame RJJ for not wanting to go to Germany after what happened to him in Olympics im sure if Dariusz would of come to USA he would of got his shot vs RJJ based on title defences he deserves to get in but thats not the whole story its about opposition ect and to be fair it wern't that great with exception of Hill Griffin ect but i have seen people like Mcguigan and Cuevas get in HOF when i didn't think they deserved it so to be fair to Dariusz if those guys can get in why can't he.

CC #1203 for giving Dariusz the most credit that you probably ever give him...

    ...

And like I said before I was/am a huge DM fan and I say that a prime Dariusz would have beaten
most LHW that are out there right now...he would have had problems with Bhop(but who wouldn't)
and maybe Glen Johnson(cause of his high workrate),but Tarver,Woods,Green,Briggs,Dawson and
even my favorite active LHW Erdei wouldn't been much a problem and maybe that was just the
    fan talkin...,but still...

Who wouldn't like a guy like Dariusz...

I joking thats more like it...
