Dariusz Michalczewski in the Hall? What do you think?

Based on how many title defences yes but based on names he beat ?? i don't think so he beat Hill which was very impressive but his only other good wins are Griffin, Hall, and Piper who gave Benn a run for his money.

He has beaten more or less the same "big" names,that RRJ has beaten as light heavy...
The thing is there weren't just that many good light heavies out there at that time or
better said that many "big" names...

And whereas DM might or might not get a HoF place, RJJ absolutely will get one...
I'm just comparing a LHW RJJ with a LHW Michalczewski and even though RJJ was of course
better Michalczewski is probably the next best one as a light heavy weight...

Mick i see your one of the people that thinks he should be in hall of fame but are you just basing it on title defences ?? because with the names he fought and beat are not HOF worthy.

Quality of opposition is def. a criteria in order to enter the hall, but it's not the only.
As someone else mentioned he fought there during a period in time where there werent any huge names for him to fight and if were gonna get into this yet again it's pretty clear Dariusz was there to fight RJJ, RJJ being the Superstar took his career elsewhere.
I mean he could have fought the WBC champ then who was an already past his best McCallum.
Look at the names of the other champs around that time, tell if they would have helped his career any better.

I'm also willing to beat that even if he would have beat both Tiozzo and Julio we'd still be having this conversation.
Cause get what people would say, well RJJ beat Julio and Hill had already beaten Tiozzo twice.

Im not saying its his fault you can't help if you in weak division thats the way it goes as for RJJ vs Dariusz can you really blame RJJ for not wanting to go to Germany after what happened to him in Olympics im sure if Dariusz would of come to USA he would of got his shot vs RJJ based on title defences he deserves to get in but thats not the whole story its about opposition ect and to be fair it wern't that great with exception of Hill Griffin ect but i have seen people like Mcguigan and Cuevas get in HOF when i didn't think they deserved it so to be fair to Dariusz if those guys can get in why can't he.
