what about rafa and their trilogy?

a fight with pac would mean jumping 2 weight division like larios did. can isreal train as hard as larios back in japan?this would be the biggest challenge for isreal and I think it'll be the worst for him too.

I want to see gonzalez and isreal again too if not the trilogy with rafa. I don't think isreal should be thinking about pac.
yup, going up 2 weight divisions would be too much for vasquez. larios can handle the additional weight better cos of his height. i'd rather see gonzalez again with vasquez after a marquez rematch. i think gonzalez, after 2 debacles that he should have won, would have learned his lesson and hand vasquez a beating next time.
yea gonzalez and vasquez has to go at it again. As much as it made me happy to see penalosa beat gonzalez it also kinda of sadden me because gonzalez is one of my favorites in the division too. Everybody talked about how good rafeal is but I always had the feeling who ever wins the first isreal vs gonzalez fight would eventually beat out rafeal.

I thought larios kept his fight with pac pretty close untill he got stopped, and since he was coming off a loss from isreal - why not?
isreal has awsome power and could really hurt pac, would be a great fight... if isreal isn't punch drunk by the end of the rafa rubbe rmatch.

wow you thought it was close

pac promise his home country a show thats why it lasted and no larios was not stopped. pac boxed him for 12 with less aggressiveness as the usual pac.

The likelihood of this coming off are slim. Even if he did move up,JMM/Soto/Guzman/Valero are all ahead of him. However,I do know that Vazquez and Pacman used to spar together so maybe the fight could be made at some point. Silly move for Isreal imo, after the third Rafa fight,he can still fight Ponce and Caballaro.

yup, gonzalez was owning vasquez big time before he got caught. that shifted the tide of the fight. same thing happened with his fight with gerry though i gotta give gerry props, he was patient looking to land that liver shot all night and he did, and jhonny not being comfortable at 118lbs anymore certainly didn't help him any. with those setbacks i'm sure jhonny will be back with a vengeance at 122lbs.

yea johnny has to get up to 122lbs now. a body shot knock out is usually a result of a fighter being drain but it also didn't help fighting a veteran as accurate and petient as gerry.

johnny can definently make some noise at 122lbs.

definitely make a noise? He was even unable to stop an aging penalosa? How much more in a higher weight division. The knock out caused by drain? are you serious Julius? He was in top shape.

Your talking out from your Ass, how many johnny fight have you actually seen? you've prolly only known johnny since his fight with penalosa. What do you mean he couldn't even stop aging penalosa? nobody has even drop penalosa. he may be past it but his no walk over. Johnny was beating him until that perfect time body shot. Johnny should of been up in the 122 division any ways, what do you know huh?

If Johnny does not have the body to withstand hardhitting punchers in his division right now, how much more if he goes up where there are more hardhitting punchers. Got the logic Julius?

gerry isn't really that much of a hard hitter. it was just a well placed liver shot he gave gonzalez that any other fighter would have crumpled from. even before the fight there were apprehensions about gonzalez making weight. jhonny was doing pretty well against vasquez, one of the hardest hitter at 122, but his eagerness to finish that fight with a flourish got the better of him. he simply got careless. imo, the super bantam is the best division for him.
