How could you think such a thing . I was merely asking a fellow saddonian out of compassion and concern for his well-being . Surely, if a person has a car accident, it is only good and proper that we enquire about his health (and that of anyone else involved) before we go on about the different types of car that might replace his old one. They are only pieces of metal.

That said, if he does admit to filing a spurious claim, I would flay him for his demonstration of compensation culture gone mad, and also think much less of him. I doubt whether he'll admit it on line anyway, so I'm sorry that I've brought this up in a way.

Mind you, I think Beds is a prison officer, so I don't know what their culture is like for these stupid non-existent injuries like slipping over at work etc. I think they all are going on strike soon over here in the UK.

All three of those cars will run forever and retain their value in the states more than any other cars in their class

I dont know how much access you have across the pond and how much they cost, but again those 3 cars are the best investmet you can make in 4 wheel transportation
JT would you agree that Hyundai is possibly THEE worst car maker ever?
A friend of mine and I argued whos the worst car maker from the more known brands. I'm sure theres some shitty obscure ones.
He says it's KIA, I say it's Hyundai.
For a time they were complete shiit, about 4-5 years ago they turned the corner big time... they have made big strides to put out a quality long lasting vehicle... I would actually say they have cracked the top 5

I would own a Hyundai before I would buy a car that was made by chevy, ford, dodge, chrysler or kia.... when you start talking SUV'S and their uses and applications I might even be inclined to lean toward them as well over some of the more established american counterparts

i had whiplash, and pulled triceps and chest, couldnt turn my head

ive got solicitors ringing up asking to represent me to be honest i wouldnt mind claiming m excess back which is 450, might be getting a megane today though so better times

i didnt strike though at work.
all my colleagues got up and walked out (we only found out about it after we got into work!) but i worked my shift (12hrs) as i dont think striking is the way forward and when you think how much of a raise were asking for its only like 80p a day!!!

The american car wasn't designed to last forever, it was designed to be easily fixed for a shit load of money as is capitalism's way . Foreign car makers may make better cars but good luck getting them fixed in your local garage if something actually does go wrong with it. My friend had something go wrong with one of his cars (I believe it was a subaru but I'm not sure at any rate it was an older model) and just finding the parts he needed to fix it would've costed him much more than just buying a respectable replacement car as he only needed one for a few months. Foreign cars cost a lot more to fix but they don't break down as much so i suppose it probably evens out.
