Jorge Linares fought a good fight against Larios but he is far from being special. He did take a lot of shot which means he will not last too long if he continues at world class level. The best up and comming fighter I have seen was Fernando Vargas.

Definitely one of my favorite fighters, he's just solid. I don't expect a Chris John fight to happen right away but it should happen at some point. Plus he's easily big enough to move up to 130 at some point.

I'm only 19, I've only been a religious fan for like 4 years, it's harder to know the fighters if you didn't live through it if you know what I mean, I'm a big Vargas fan though and coming up he looked like a beast.

I think most of us here are just speculating how good a boxer was. For example, we speculate that there's no way Tyson would beat Ali. But we can't really be sure about it. During the peak of Tyson, many were actually thinking that he could beat the hell out from Ali.

As a fact, boxing fans do not watch the fights of all boxers. Some boxers simply do not interest us at all.For me, Mayweather is a boring fighter, for some he is simply great to look at because of what they call "science" in boxing, of which Mayweather usually exhibits.

In one way or another, it does not diminish our "knowledge" or authority in boxing.In this forum, when we speak our mind intelligently or ignorantly (depending on how others would perceive it),no one has the right to call us "moron".When somebody calls us that way, it is because that somebody is simply referring that adjective to himself.

I think Linares is one of the very best young fighters on the scene today. The way he gets power off the end of his long punches is frightening and devastaing. He wilkl go a long way in my opinion. I like him!
