It's been on since 7:30pm over here on the west coast.
You missed the heavyweight opening fight where the Cuban go dq'ed for street fighting on about 8 different occasions.
I'm ready to see Zab disappear out of the boxing map.

I agree...You would think Judah would be trying to make a statementOriginally Posted by CutMeMick
...Instead of letting Vasquez be in the fight....I swear you would think this guy watched Teddy's fight tips because he is following it well moving to his left and jabbing at the eye where Judah was cut

3-1 for Zab.
If Vasquez was just a little bit busier he'd have Zab allover the ring.

Every time Zab throws a punch, it's very effective. He can put this guy away whenever he wants.
I'm seeing a more mature, disiplined Judah tonight.

I disagree. This is exactly what Zab should be doing. When Zab fought Galvan as his tuneup for the Cotto fight, he came right out and tried to KO him in the 1st round and look flashy, when what he should have been doing is getting rounds under his belt.Originally Posted by DaxxKahn
Zab is a two-time champ, he doesn't need a quick KO of this journeyman to make a statement, he needs to put together several effective rounds, control the fight methodically, and then go for a KO if it comes to him.
Why wasn't this in the prediction contest?? At least it is a fighter I have heard of......

If I am not mistaked Judah looks a bit like he is getting tired.....Plus the cut from the headbutt

And I could easily flip this around, and say that because this opponent isn't world-class, an early KO doesn't prove anything for Zab, because people will just say, "That guy was a journeyman, KOing him doesn't prove anything."Originally Posted by DaxxKahn
Zab doesn't need to make statements, he needs to get work in and put together one successful round after another. That's why he scheduled this fight, to get work in.
