CC for a good prediction. You called it perfectly. Vazquez didn't win, but he was no walkover, either.
i think he just wanted to get in some rounds, he needed them, he got caught a few times due to his timing being way off, it looked like he got his shit togeather by the end of the fight tho, he needs 1 more top level jobber before going for a big fight, and that elimination bout atlas referenced sounds like it may be the top level jobber he needs before he KTFO cintron

    hahaha

I was nodding my head in agreement until I got to your last 4-5 words. Sal, take my word for it..... Judah should stay clear of Cintron.

Cintron would make Judah do a break dance never mind his chicken dance routine.

Judah looked pretty good, he's still mostly throwing one or two punches at a time though. That will not be good enough against top competition, he is very fast and has power, he needs to let his hands go in combinations. That Vasquez had a good chin on him too, he took a few hellacious left uppercuts. You gotta love how Judah plants his feet, waits for the opponent to come in, then slams him with a left uppercut. I would like to see Judah fight Richard Guitterrez next, that would be a good fight for both of them, Guitterez brings the pressure and could beat Judah.

Did he really break his left hand last night?

Thanks. Have a return cc. I cant see Zab really being back in the top class again. He seems a lot more gun shy than he used to be. This fight and Cotto fight shows hes lost some confidence in himself.

He was a bit less than scintillating although Vazquez seemed pretty tough.

I liked the part where Zab was showing the world his IPhone Zab is hilarious.

that's what he said, could have been covering up for not stopping Vazquez but then again maybe he did break it, I think he said he hurt it in like the sixth or seventh.

Is it me or is Zab's power at 147 non-existent (remember, he never hurt Cotto). Anyway, if Judah truly still "has it" then he should have made short work of Vazquez, a guy who is a journeyman type fighter with much experience. Now, if Judah was looking to do some work, sort of like an extended sparring session, then his performance was commendable. Still, at this juncture in Zab's career, he shouldn't be fighting "tune ups." Vazquez (who was ko'd by Ricardo Torres before Torres fought that memorable fight with Cotto) had no business going the distance with Zab. Zab won't beat any of the top welterweights. In fact, Cintron, Margarito, and Williams will seriously KO Judah.

Well actually he did hurt Cotto in early going and he did rock him more than once i think his power is still there at 147 but because there are so many elite fighters at 147 and he isn't going to stop anyone with his power.

He's not a lights-out puncher, but his power isn't non-existent either. He did hurt Cotto on a few occasions, and Cotto has admitted in interviews that he was stunned a couple times.

He also knocked out Spinks, and Spinks has gone the decisions with several fighters who are bigger and stronger than Zab.
