From 98-01 Zab was a real force and a threat to anyone...except Tszyu.

Sadly, I think Zab's time at the top is at an end. Vazquez is definitely tougher than his record shows, but his record is poor enough that a world class fighter shouldve been able to KO him.

I think if Zab meets Margarito it will be an easy late ko for Tony. Judah keeps his hands so damn low..he was getting hit with A LOT of Vazquez's jabs.
He was tougher than his record shows but this guy was still a journeyman and Judah should of won in more impressive fashion Judah should go back down to Lightwelterweight because he won't beat any of the elite Welterweights.
I haven't seen the fight, we won't get it down here until next Friday but i agree, if he can make 140lb then a return match with Witter might be attractive to both fighters.
I really can't see him beating Margarito, Williams, Cintron, Mosley or Cotto at 147lb.
It looks like he will continue for sometime time yet and his options are limited, my guess is he will take a fight with Margarito and get pulverised!

Just have a look at list of opponents between 1998 and 2001.

Then look what happened when he got in the ring with someone really good! KOby2
His best win ever was probably against Spinks but he comes up short far to often against
    A list fighters.

seems like he needed to go the distance cuz hes never good during the big fights.

who is the suggested oppenent for judah next?
Totally unimpressive in all respects. He is done as a top attraction IMO.

Yeah, Zab was never quite elite. He had the tools to be but he he always stayed a level below the best. When he beat Spinks that as the one time he really rised to the occasion. He still was a major threat cause you knew if Zab really came to win he could beat just about anyone.

Is there any chance of Judah fighting the top guys anymore ? Can anyone see him getting in the ring with the likes of Mayweather (again), Hatton, DLH etc ?

Maybe just an off night again for Zab. Boxers are sometimes experiencing psychological problems after a serious defeat.
