To think that I was Ringisde for this event gives me chills. I'll never forget it.
You also gotta add that 'El Maestrito' Lopez was on the card tho way past his best I saw glimps of how talented he once was.
I'll always say that he was the man back in the days, he could have beaten ODLH, Tito & some people like myself think he beat Quartey.
Sadly problems in and out of the ring derailed and his career but wow! was he something special then.
I agree Lopez was very talented. One of boxings biggest underachievers. But I don't agree with you on him beating Quartey. Except for the 2 knock down rounds I taught Quartey beat him pretty easily. His jab controlled the whole fight.
I agree on the underachieving defintely.
About the fight well it could be that I'm being a bit biased there and get all excited when he drops him, I guess I can re-watch the fight again without biased scoring...
