Ali after boxing (with parkinsons): A very religious and humble man that seeks to make the world a better place. Complete turn around from him in his prime as he was a loud mouth and would brag about his own ability to no end. I think thats something called maturing.

Holmes after boxing (with good health): What about me? Everybody hates me. I never get respected. I was robbed. Don't get me wrong, he has his fair share of charities as well, as all successful sports stars do, but he's an ass. He has his health and all he wants to do is whine about stuff that happened 20 years ago. He won't accept that he got breaks the many fighters do not. He got to be champ and he got a chance to fight for the belt in the first place. There's fighters out there that deserve it way more than he does but all he can talk about after he's retired with money and his health (a rare double commodity in boxing) is how people mistreated him.

To be honest i don't really care what Holmes is like outside the ring i still think he is one of the greatest Heavyweights of all time just like Tyson fans don't care about what he does outside the ring.

I don't care about people's lifestyle outside the ring either. Tyson respected the champions that came before him and what they did for boxing. In the shadow of ali, holmes had the balls to hype himself up as the greatest thing of all time in heavyweight boxing and it just wasn't true. He's in the top 10 no doubt as almost 50 straight wins against any opposition is impressive but he needs to realize he's not unarguable #1. Re-watch the part where he seriously blames ali for making it "impossible" for holmes to call himself the greatest. It's the most ridiculous complaint i've ever heard in my life.

To be honest, I can't stand the guy. He beat the shell of ali and seemingly in his mind that was just as good as beating him in his prime. He calls ali overrated when ali fought way superior opposition to him. I have a problem with any fighter that believes anything they do is better than what ali did (heavyweights only of course as each division has that one guy you just shouldn't compare others to). I wish holmes would've got his fight with a prime ali and foreman just as much as he does.

i like when boxers go to the old neigborhood and help with the boxing gyms teach the young ameturs something

when they are a good family man

i dont think larry holmes is not rash or harsh plus alot of the stuff he said was true he maybe whine alot

being in of the most hype up fight ever against cooney and beating him he should after he was even more the villian

even though he plays the victim really well i dont blame him at all
