He really needs to go thru with this and the sooner the better. I'm impatient already but if it's not done by summer of next year, i won't be alone.
ummmm......WHAT?!?!?

Wladimir got jobbed by HBO, everyone including Sam Peter is afraid of him and with his performance over Brewster he showed he can avenge a loss.

If Wlad doesn't get his unification shot and even if he does you had best make sure he'll fight Corrie Sanders which IMO is the biggest match up as far as storylines go.

Wlad-Valuev won't happen as Nicolay is wobbled by guys like MONTE BARRETT

Wlad-Byrd has been done and both times were extremely onesided

Wlad-Peter has been done and would be worse for Sam this go round

Wlad-Sultan wouldn't last 5 rounds

Wlad-Chagaev is interesting but Ruslan is sick and can't fight but he'll get his ass stomped once he's healthy.

Povetkin isn't ready yet but once he is THAT'S THE FIGHT TO MAKE!!!
I dunno about sanders really coming back but if he's in fighting condition, why not? Wlad's in a jacked division and you really can't blame him because it comes in the shadow of the 90's which is arguably one of the 3 best ever. Saying that all available unification matches would probably hurt the sport as far as entertainment value go is probably well founded. In a couple of years the division should be back to its former glory. Hopefully wlad realizes this and waits out his crappy division for legacy sake.
