Well stated, fully agree on both statements.

The first in particular deserves to be repeated.

Pacquiao should beat MAB, but it's still impressive if he does it. (emphasis mine; intelligence SweetPea's).

As far as their entire resumes throughout their careers........... absolutely.

Jones had a few big names on his, where as Mayweather has a few big ones and a lot of really good ones.

Don't forget that Jones lost to journeyman Glen Johnson and mediocre Antonio Tarver a couple times

I'm not saying that it was Jones's fault, because there wasn't that much out there. But Mayweather has the far better resume............ which equates to better wins overall.

Do yourself a big favor and try not to refer to me later in threads because I will continue to make you look silly and ignorant.

    Thanks
If we are talking the big names they fought then then RJJ no question and im big Mayweather fan aswell.

    Mayweather's best wins

    Jesus Chavez
    Diego Corrales
    Jose Luis Castillo
    Zab Judah
    Carlos Baldomir
    Oscar Delahoya
    Genaro Hernandez
    Angel Manfredy
    Carlos Hernandez
    Phillip N'dou
    DeMarcus Corley
    Arturo Gatti

    Roy Jones best wins

    Thulani Malinga
    Thomas Tate
    James Toney
    Vinny Pazienza
    Merqui Sosa
    Eric Lucas
    Mike McCallum
    Montell Griffin
    Virgil Hill
    Reggie Johnson
    Julio Cesar Gonzalez
    Glen Kelly
    Anthony Hanshaw
    John Ruiz
    Clinton Woods

And Hill, Hopkins Hill, McCallum are all HOF im sorry Mayweather has beaten good oppsition but he isn't on Jones level quite yet for best wins.

Factor in Jones's losses and add a victory over Hatton (when it happens) and Mayweathers has the better resume
I don't think you can use Jones' losses as the basis for an argument for Mayweather having a better resume. Jones was in his mid-late 30's when he lost to Tarver and Johnson. That's an age that Mayweather has not reached yet.
If we're comparing resumes, we should be comparing Jones thru age 30 with Mayweather thru age 30 (his current age). Jones' win over Toney is more impressive than anything Mayweather has done to this point.
although totally out of topic, I agree with you sweetpea.

I not saying that pbf is bad frozen i think thats what you think i am saying but what i do think is at this point in his career he not beaten better fighters then rjj and has not clean out the welters yet but i will agree with you that him being a champion in 5 different divisions and still be undefeated at 38-0 i believe is his record does put him ahead of pacman hope that will clear things up for you
