It probably is more in hope than reality but Hagler in 87 was not the same fighter that beat Hagler and Mugabi. Although they were his last two fights he was getting old and had been in many wars and did not fight that frequently. Remember one judge had Hagler comprehensively outboxed so that (blind) judge may have scored it for Herol. Not too far fetched I believe if it happened. People would have rightly said that Hagler was beaten at the right place at the right time. However Herol was never that lucky on the world stage.
