No question that part of Floyd's antics are to promote the fight...but he is also an egomaniac that loves to hear himself talk. Everyone should enjoy the hype...because the hype will be way better than the actual fight. Again...no disrespect to Hatton...but i just don't see him being able to match Floyd's speed, skill, and conditioning. Maybe he will surprise us all. I think he has taken a good first step. He doesn't back down from Floyd. He has a calm confidence and a witty manner. The early psychological edge goes to Ricky. How he will do physically in the ring is a whole another story and remains to be seen.

Outstanding. Floyd at his best. Hatton looks like a deer in the headlights.

I actually think Hatton looked and responded perfectly. Usually when a fighter is nervous it shows in their face and their speech. Hatton looked calm, confident, and amused. And for all of Floyd's hot air...not much of it is funny or witty. Floyd is the big favorite...but i have a feeling Hatton is going to win the publicity/popularity battle. It's just to easy too dislike Floyd and his entire camp...Ellerbe, Roger, etc. The build up and hype for this fight will be A+. Fight itself will be a C.

I hope you're joking with this.

There's only one unlimited weight class. Someone who starts his career at 130 pounds is obviously not going to ever reach that weight class, so your Jones comparison is laughable. Manny will never be competing at heavyweight either, I guess that makes him a coward as well.

And for the first statement, I'll take this opportunity to tell you that Manny has only fought for belts at 4 of those classes. Floyd has won belts at all 5 classes in which he has competed.
That was one oversight on my part. I meant to add in there that I don't expect someone who starts out that low to move that high up. My bad.

As for the PAC thing, I find it more of a feat to move up 6 weight classes and be eyeing a 7th than fighting for belts in all of them.

Hey Ice, I'm sure you read my post on a different thread by now so I know I don't need to repeat the info to you but for those who don't know:

I'm not a "hater", I'm a "non-believer". There is a difference but due to the amount of time I took explaining this on a different thread, I won't fully explain it on this one. AND, I'll continue spreading the message as long as others are spreading their message.

Ok non believer, please explain to me how u cannot believe in floyd who has beaten many great fighters in 5 divisions, yet u believe in a guy who has two major wins in his career against well past their prime fighters. Also Floyd has beaten champs at 147, whereas Hatton has struggled against a virtual no name in collazo at that weight. Any theory u can come up with is not logic no matter what u say u cannot deny the cold hard facts. If Hatton beats Floyd fair and square ill own up to being wrong, if the opposite happens i reckon we'll never hear from u again or u'll say..... ok Floyd beat Hatton but he is only an average 140 pound fighter i non believe in Floyd til he wins at 160.......

Mayweather is a good fighter but he does not wow me when i watch him i dont say that is the best fight i have ever seen and that is probably why i dont like him i did watch some of his early fights and there not bad but nothing special and i am not going to lie i am bitter over his last two fights because i feel they weren't worth 50 dallors each but in the same token i like hatton sort of but not a huge fan i just want him to win because i like to see mayweather lose and then win in the rematch just to so he can comeback from a lose and see what he is made of and i might even like him more after words because he came back and showed he was the best after a lose kinda how SRL did and we all know i love SRL so i don't mind if you like PBF ice because if he is exciting for you then thats your right to love him thats what fans do but i dont like him but time will tell

See i respect that post. U admit he is not the most exciting to watch, but i dont think u deny he is a top p4p fighter. I agree with u that FLoyds main problem is he tends to just do enough to win, and that doesnt buy him fans, and i think that if he did lose to someone we might see more out of him to prove he is great. Kinda like what RJJ did to Griffin. I know he lost DQ, but he won the rematch in such a fashion it proved he was a much better boxer.

Slk you can't take away from what Mayweather achieved and thats what your trying to do he fought alot of good opposition like i said he has beaten the most quality opposition than anyone out there at the moment and he has fought exciting fights and has took risks you can't say he hasn't otherwise you are just being a hater if you don't like Floyd fair enough not everyone will like him but what you should say is that i don't like Mayweather but i think he is very talented and has beaten good opposition which he has no matter what you say it doesn't change that fact i don't like Mike Tyson but i still give him his props and you should do the same if you can't do that then i can't take you serious as poster and in my eyes you are just hater.
