We all know Ricky can not cut it at Welter Weight.

Is it just about the money for Ricky?

Ricky should have insisted Floyd fight him at 140.

Not only will big headed Floyd run around telling everyone he beat the best Welter Weight (LIE) but he will also run around saying he beat the best Light Welter Weight.

We know who the true Welter Weights are and Hatton is not one of them.

What is Ricky going to do when he loses to Floyd?

You are saying Mayweather won't touch elite Welterweights if he beats Hatton ?? i don't believe that for a second Hatton was in no position to make demands if he wants that p4p number 1 spot he has to agree to Mayweather's terms and really and truthfully i think last time Hatton fought at Welterweight was due to him not properly getting used to the weight.

Was Carlos not the Welterweight champion of the world didn't he also beat Judah and Gatti ?? so you would of been happy if he would of avoided the fight with Baldomir ?? yea right whatever Danny you would be first one saying he is ducking Baldomir if Mayweather hadn't of fought him.

Baldomir was a flash in the pan. Tough chinned, but nothing more than a jouneyman who took his chance at the right moment.

I do think Hatton is gonna get it right against Mayweather and we are in for a ballsy close fight. Collazo is a poor yardstick for anyone. Every top fighter has a bad day at the office. Mayweather had a similar fight first time out with Castillo after all.

I dont think I would call not fighting Baldomir "avoiding" him. I just think and have always thought there were better fighters in the division. Beating Baldomir hasnt cemented Mayweather in any way, shape nor form. Fighting Judah (who just lost to Baldy) and then fighting Baldy himself. Well, it hardly seems Mayweather was taking any real risks by fighting Baldomir. There were bigger fish to fry.

And Hatton came into the Collazo fight as Ricky fatton. Forget the excuses for poor showings. I dont care for them.
