Sugar Ray Leonard did not fight Duran in the second fight. He ran so much that Duran just said screw this. Ray don't want to fight, he want's to run. Duran did not get beat up. Sure they fought again for a third time like ten years later and Ray won.

I just find it hard to believe Mayweather would be scared of someone who had no wins and best name on his record was Daniel Santos and he lost that fight Mayweather fought Corrales who was big and a strong puncher plus undefeated why would he fear Margarito maybe he didn't say anything when Tony's name was mentioned because he wasn't worth it ?? and im not trying to diss Margarito but im just saying he was not worthy of his shot and if Mayweather would have fought Tony all we would of heard was Margarito hadn't fought anyone he was overrated ect Mayweather had nothing to gain beating Margarito what so ever except pleasing the Margarito fans but thats worth jack S***.

As for Leonard he boxed beautifully in the rematch with Duran combination's, footwork, ect Duran just got frustrated because he was getting his ear's boxed off simple as Duran was never a great fighter when someone boxed him from outside remember Kirkland Laing gave Duran a boxing lesson.

ICE COLD, I will agree that Margarito wasn't worthy of a shot at Mayweather at the time, but it's clear Floyd was afraid of Margarito. Antonio is an imposing physical presence, perhaps the most imposing in the welterweight division. Regardless of who Antonio has beaten or not, his constant pressure and power spooked Floyd. I mean, Floyd turned down 8 MILLION to fight him. At the time, that was the biggest purse Floyd was ever offered!!

Well i think Mayweather has took right path don't you ?? he fought Oscar and the fight was huge probably one of the most anticipated fights since Tyson vs Lewis and is now fighting Hatton in huge fight Margarito did not deserve the fight vs Mayweather and i would have been surprised if Arum allowed Margarito to fight Mayweather by offering Mayweather 8 million dollars because not only would Mayweather have gave Margarito a boxing lesson he would of ended Arum's hype machine.

Oh and by the way Gamo im not hater of Margarito im actually fan of his style and was rooting for him vs Williams.

Saying Margarito did not deserve the fight doesn't make sense for a guy who only cares about making $$$$. It if makes dollars,it makes sense,that's one of his favourite sayings...

I can see it from your side Gamo i wouldn't of minded seeing to be honest just because of the public calling Mayweather a chicken ect would of been a chance for Mayweather to prove them wrong.
