Default Khan targets three world titles

Amir Khan says he has set his sights on becoming a three-weight world champion.
The 20-year-old Briton believes he will be lightweight world champion within his next five fights - and his ambitions do not stop there.

Doubt it, Warren won't rush him and risk a loss because of the money he generates.

Khan hasn't even won British title yet and has fought all feather fisted fighters and was almost KO by one he is talking alot of rubbish he will never ever win a world title let alone in 3 weight divisions he hasn't even beat the best domestic level opponents yet.

Scott Lawton (his next "TEST") has 4 TKO's from 20 fights

So he has about half the chance of getting decked this time around

I'm pretty sure Warren will find a way for Khan to become WBU champion.

Amir Khan needs to stop the love he says may be his own

    He's crossing into dangerous waters.

But lets look at the competition here.

    He's a super featherweight now?

And a Lightweight and Super lightweight he wants in the future right?

Who holds the titles at super featherweight, lightweight and junior welterweight now? And could khan stand a chance against either?

You know what pisses me off though?.....this is true

There is a lad at work who overheard me talking to a guy (who knows the sport quite well) about the Hatton-Castillo fight, I think it was.

He sat there listening untill we stopped talking and said "yeah but Amir khan is like....the best boxer in the world now ain't he? When is his next fight?"

Almost threw a chair at the lad but that's what all this hype shit does and it gets on my tits.

5 fights is a LONG time. That's 2 years for most boxers and if the guy isn't confident that he'll be a champ by his 6th year as a professional then I'd be a bit worried.

LOL. a lot of dreaming from Khan. he won't even get a title at the superfeather. anyway, he is in lightweight but considering these people whom he might meet in the lightweight [Pacquaio (hopefully, going up in 1 to 2 years), Guzman , Casamayor, Diaz, even a weakened Morales, etc.] it will take him years to get a respectable win, much more a title, in that division.

Anyway, if he keeps on doing his best he might get a shot at it. He is still young and he can still improve.

Put him in with Katsidis. Amir has more skill than Kats, lets see if he has the ticker to be a champ.
(As if Warren would allow this fight)

yes amir you are the The greatest over-rated of all time.

This kid needs shut his face and actually get a title before he even dreams about unifying anything...

I'd prefer to hear Khan acknowledging that he's got alot to learn rather than making bold predictions at this stage. He's got enough to be a world champion ability wise but I do wonder about his chin...could just be that he needs to stop worrying about knocking guys out & just settle into more of a boxer/puncher type of style behind his jab.
