Yeah perhaps not... But Pavlik still laid the foundation for beating the hell out of Miranda... He's really a poor fighter when being made to back up, he looked utterly clueless often times against Pavlik... He generates nowhere near the same power off the back foot as he does when coming forward, doesn't counter or set traps, and he isn't difficult to back up from the looks of it. moving up a division against bigger guys who hit harder and can take more punishment just doesn't bode well for him imo.. I think there are actually a good number of fighters who would hand him a total beatdown at SMW. His best chance for a belt would probably be the winner of Berrio and Bute.. I thikn Lucian will come out on top in that one, and I'd heavily favour him to beat Edison as well, but Bute still has some defensive lapses, and he hasn't really found a style that's comfortable for him to use consistently.. He switches between offence and defence too often which gives both Berrio and Miranda a shot I spose. If Berrio wins, then he vs Miranda would be a firecracker of a match for sure. They are fairly similar fighters really, it would be all action. I wouldn't mind seeing Miranda rematch Green either, he could also fight Jean Pascal, Brahmer, Inkin, or Froch and give them all a decent test at least. tbo though Id have him an underdog in all those fights. I think the most competitive matchup that would raise his stock and make sense would be a fight against Manfredo...Originally Posted by El Gamo
