Last night i watched Collazo-v-Hatton for the 1st time. Yes the first time!

For all the times ive defended Hatton against all the claimes he was beat fair n square etc... I realise now that Collazo really was robbed!!

I had it 115-114 to Collazo and that was with me (a Hatton fan) being ever so slightly biased to the hitman in scoring.

    Im truely shocked and humbled

A one round margin is hardly a robbery. I thought it could have gone either way.

I thought that SRL deserved the win against Marvin and also beat Hearns in the rematch (I counted the staggerings as 10-8 rounds). Many people disagree with me but they were close.

You can even argue a case for Leonard in the first Duran fight......

Hatton was the big favourite so people expected him to win. When he didn't win easy it clouds your judgement. The same thing happened to Ali in his later fights and also to Lewis V Klitchsko.

Relax Boogie bro. Firstly,115-114 is NOT,in anyway, shape or form,a robbery(don't listen to others, that word is used far far too much and usually incorrectly). Secondly, you not watching the fight, tut tut tut!! I'd guarantee you're not the only that has done that though,so it's fine.

Don't let it happen too much though and I hope other members stop doing this too otherwise this forum will end up like some of the "other" ones.(where guys have never seen the fights and they know nothing about boxing)

This is what makes the Hatton/Mayweather Jr. fight some what interesting.
    Both got gifts.
    Hatton got his against Collazo
Mayweather Jr. got his against Castillo I

Both fighters should have an L

To take a mans belt, you have to beat him. I don't care about the excuses people have made for both Hatton and Mayweather Jr.

I will grant Mayweather Jr. the come back azz kicking he gave Castillo in the second fight. He boxed poor Castillo's ears off, left him blonde and stupid in the process. I still remember Castillo saying I can not figure out his style after every round past the ninth.

Hatton should have stayed at Welter and gave Collazo his deserved rematch. Mayweather did the right thing by fighting Castillo again. Hatton, well.... He did not do the right thing. Tisk, tisk

I had Hatton by 2 points. I too am a massive Hatton fan, but I felt he won. Wasn't confident though when the judges came through, and that seriously was his biggest crisis to date.

I had it even but Hatton was seriously fading in the later rounds when you expect him to be at his strongest. I put that down to the weight but then the same thing happened in his next fight. I think Hatton's best chance is wear PBF down and come on strong at the end so this pattern is a bit of a worry!

It seems that you're overly critical when scoring a fight when its your boy in there. I too am guilty of this and have a tendancy to score close rounds in favor of who ever is fighting the guy I want to win.

    Relax though................

In my completely unbiased scoring of the Hatton/Collazo fight, I had Hatton by a round.

Hatton scraped through IMO but only because of the KD. It was a poor, poor display. The nadir of Hattons career IMO and he knows it.
