Marco Antonio Barrera has taken offense at an allegation of improper hand-wrapping made by Pacquiao's trainer Freddie Roach. "He shouldn't be worrying about me, he should be worrying about Manny Pacquiao," Barrera commented today. "Worry about your own guy. This isn't the first time I've fought in Vegas. I've fought in Vegas a lot of times and I've never had problems with my wrap.

I gotta agree - is he the Barrera of old? Probably not, but he's still one hell of a fighter. No one else but a top notch fighter could drop JMM like he did.

Pac will be a much different proposition than JmM. I believe some of the physicality we saw in the JmM fight, which was reminicint of the old barerra, will be implemented in the Pac fight. However Pac will be able to match him physically so Barerra had better draw on his wealth of expierience and box.

Barrera is right to blast back. Roach has been talking too much lately.

Barrera impressed me with his showing against Marquez. Certainly much more impressive than his two wins over Juarez.

He has plenty left in the tank and Pac will need to be at his best to beat him. Barrera has obviously been hard at work in the gym and seems very confident. I see no reason why Barrera shouldnt be able to put up a vintage performance.

Barrera has no issues with weight and has adapted his fight style as the years have progressed. He has enhanced his longevity admirably. All the signs are that he will give Pac a tough fight and hopefully get through Pacs leaky defence more than enough to win rounds.

Im optimistic about this fight going Barrera's way.

The barrera that restore his career in the hamed fight was a barrera that was anger and annoyed by princess.

I don't know if its right for mab to allow roach under his skin though. it could get mab distracted from the speed and power that will be infront of him come fight night.
