Not interested in this one Woods won decision almost 2 years ago and Julio hasn't done much in last 2 years but its not worth watching because we already know the answer Woods by ud.Originally Posted by taansend
Not worth watching? Gonzalez is one of the most exciting fighters in the division, it's definitely worth watching.
No it isn't because this fight already happened and Woods won a UD whats point of a rematch ?? Julio hasn't done much in 2 years and will this advance either man really ?? no so im not really interested in it.Originally Posted by amat
If Woods wins it does nothing for him he beat a man he already beat 2 years ago.
If Julio wins then theres a rubber match between them guranteed.
Does nothing for either man really.
Just because it isn't exactly significant doesn't mean that it isn't worth watching...
I didn't say that but im bit sick of Woods going backwards instead of forwards all the time like with Johnson and now with Julio it just doesn't interest me at all.Originally Posted by amat
So.... does anyone know the result?

I'm looking everywhere for the results bro, I wanna know myself I've got a bet on the virtual sportsbook. I found out other today's results Mark Hobson won the British Cruiserweight title by Knocking out John Keaton in round 4 and Nikolay Valuev won a UD but I can't find woods. The setatnta show finishes at 12:00AM UK time so we should find out in the next half hour or so.![]()
BF light heavyweight champion Clinton Woods (41-3-1) retained his title at the Sheffield Arena tonight with an exciting and hard fought points victory over #2 ranked Mexican Julio Gonzalez (41-4). In the fourth defense of his title Woods boxed well on the inside and landed the superior volume and quantity of punches. He won by unanimous scores of 117-111, 115-113 and 116-112. There were no knockdowns in the fight but both fought with great heart and determination to provide the 6,000 crowd with an exciting contest over the distance. Gonzalez seemed fatigued in the eleventh round and Woods pushed the pace to try and force the finish but the brave Mexican showed heart and held on. Both fighters finished with cuts over their right eyes in an absorbing contest. This was a rematch of their 2005 bout which Woods also won on the scorecards with a unanimous decision and was Woods' first fight in over a year since defeating Glen Johnson in their third fight. With Johnson now ranked #1 by the IBF a fourth bout is likely in early 2008.

ICB, you missed out on a really good fight
Part of what makes boxing so appealing is it's unpredictability![]()
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
If Woods fights Glen Johnson again that means he'll have fought FOUR opponents in his last NINE fights![]()
