One of my boys,Jesus Soto Karass got KTFO I think it was in the first round,1 punch KO,he landed face first http://www.fightnews.com/salazar549.htm Sounds like KO of the year contender Mick!

Chad Dawons won via fourth round stoppage and Joseph Agkbeko busted up VD's boy Luis Perez. It was stopped on docs orders at the end of the 6th/beginning of 7th. Here are the reports for these 2 fights

Combined with Ponce's win,Berto's win and Kelly's win,it was a sensational weekend of boxing!!!
Just a few other results:

On the undercard of Valuev two former European 168-champs squared off with Vitali Tsypko beating David Gogiya on 12UD. People might remember Tsypko as the guy who got robbed in Jeff Lacy's last fight (although Lacy looked comfortable until his injury). Boxrec notes that this was a "IBF eliminator for the #2 spot", so perhaps Tsypko is now official challenger for the winner of Bute-Berrio?

On the Taylor-Pavlik undercard Ronald Hearns won on 1st round ko against Robert Kamya (16-7). At 16-0 and at 28 years, shouldnt it be time to step up?

Same goes for Chazz Witherspoon who won by rtd 5 against perennial punching bag Ron Guerrero. Should be about time that someone from the class of Chambers, Arreola and Witherspoon stepped up and tests their limits.
