No it shouldn't that would of been horrible stoppage Pavlik head was clear and he was clinching Taylor did not put enough hurt on Pavlik to warrant a stoppage.
it is VERY possible that I exaggerated the moment in my own mind due to the emotional state I was in, but I remember Pavlik with his back turned to Taylor in Round 2
