    i didn't see any face making. Pavlik got caught, staggered and caught some more and then went down. Taylor just doesn't have the gas to get the job done. It looked like taylor did more holding than pavlik in the last part of the second round. He was too wild and he wanted to hold for some reason.

    Pavlik got caught by a good shot, then dropped his hands to make a face and JT was quicker than Pavlik thought and caught him with 5 or 6 shots. I couldn't believe Kelly did that. That did almost cost him the fight. Hopefully he learned a lesson from that and won't do that anymore.

    What I learned is that Taylor expends a TON of nervous energy and while Pavlik won the fight, Taylor helped out a little. Taylor definitely made a point of getting off first and showed some lateral movement when he got to the ropes and worked to fight off of the ropes, but he never seemed to "calm down" whereas Pavlik looked like he'd been there before.
