Why would he fancy a fight with a guy half his age when he can still sell fights, that he can win, against fellow geriatrics?

He's always been smart picking his fights.

Um... Everybody thought he would lose to Tarver pretty much. There is no reason Bernard can't win this fight if you've watched him at all in his last two fights.

In his last two fights ?? oh you mean fighting the natural Lightmiddleweight who had never fought above Middleweight but fought Hopkins at Lightheavyweight plus it was a bad fight and quite alot of people thought Winky had won it.

As for Tarver like i said he fought like a joke and give up early in the fight he basically gifted Hopkins the fight because he didn't want to fight.
