Why would he fancy a fight with a guy half his age when he can still sell fights, that he can win, against fellow geriatrics?

He's always been smart picking his fights.

Um... Everybody thought he would lose to Tarver pretty much. There is no reason Bernard can't win this fight if you've watched him at all in his last two fights.

Tarver was coming off looking utter shit beating Jones and messing around with his weight to make a Hollywood movie.

In the past 6/7 years Hopkins has fought one guy in his 20s, in his prime, and lost twice.
