Ive nothing againest the guy , but hes getting old and has done nothing ?
Why is he fighting a 36 year old Robin Reid who has lost ...........
1997 - Malinga
99 - JOKE Calzaghe
2000 - Branco
2003 - Ottke
2005 - hammerd by Lacy ?
i mean why bother ? is he over rated ? or can he really walk the walk , it seems a real waste of talent to take these kind of fights .
This by the way is a genuine question my fellow northener , im just curious
I think he is massively overrated. Never fought a top 20 guy. Bit of money in a Reid matchup tho. Thats why he is doing it. He'll probably KO shot Reid, then mouth off saying how he beat Robin easier than Joe C and is therefore better....
Put Carl in with Joe C or Kess, even a fit Mundine and he'd get his a** handed too him. He is a Danny Green level fighter at best.
I think stopping that Russian in his last fight showed hes world class!
Sergey Tatevosyan was nothing more than a tough journeyman.

Froch has plenty of opponents to fight.

Lucian Bute
Jeff Lacy
Denis Inkin
Vitali Tsypko
Allan Green
Giovanni Lorenzo
Librado Andrade
Edison Miranda
But look at the list most of them have just fought, injured or having a fight soon. Froch is in line for a shot but its just taking time for him with other events. It will come, he just needs to knock more people out. I would like Miranda-Froch that would be a cracker!
After the Reid fight i want Froch to fight one of the names on my list and if he beats any of them then i'll start taking more notice.
|I really am not sure what will be next for him but i know he should have a shot at the WBC title before spring 08 because he is the number one contender. But lets just wait and see if he beats Reid yet.
