I dowloaded and installed Sopcast. I keep trying to login as anonymous, and everytime I do it, it just says "Logging In..." for about a minute, then it says "Unable to connect."

Is it normal for it to take several attempts to login? What could I be doing wrong?

Do you have a link for the fight? It's been pulled from the sopcast schedule.

But I thought sopcast was the way to watch ppvs online, so I downloaded it just now.

The fights on at 3am UK time so another 2 and a half hours - pretty sure a link will be available. Have heard that CCTV5 are showing the fight but not live.

No one is even sure there will be a stream of this fight but anyway..

Are you behind a firewall by any chance? I just launched mine and it's working fine and I too just use the anonymous log in. Why create an account if you don't have to right.

However, I've never had any websites restricted here before.

Well this a peer network. You can obviously install programs but I wonder if you have peer to peer networking allowed at your job. Can you yahoo or MSN or do stuff like LimeWire or BearShare?

I installed both sopcast and tvuplayer tonight, and both just freeze when I try to get the webplayer to work, so I assume they must be locked by my network. Damn.

Maybe something like that wouldn't be blocked by a firewall.

Well then you also might want to read this. I am not sure if it will make any sense to you but it does to me but I don't know if you are going to be able to tweak the network where you are at. I am going to try this later. Not that I need it but curiosity has got the best of me since it say's I can speed up my player. Hell, I should try this now. I hope I don't phuk this up for myself which is most likely the case. I never leave well enough alone. lol
