Wehn Hopkins fought Taylor, Jermain was being hyped as the next big thing and Hopkins was given a load of credit beforehand for taking that first fight.

BHop will do whatever makes him the most money and does his legacy best.

I'm sure he'd love to fight Pavlik for the middleweight title again but to be honest he probably couldn't make that weight any more.

Nonetheless I;m 100% sure that if Pavlik wanted to fight Hop and the money was right Hopkins would be 110% up for it.

A classic matchup of wiley malsteful old boxer vs young powerful puncher.

    A classic old school fight.
I totally agree, I would love to see this fight.

I meant for pure legacy 140. I agree cleaning out the division and establishing his reign in the flagship division would be a good idea, but if he were going to fight up in weight I think the Calzaghe/Kessler winner would be a bigger opponent than Bhop/Winky.

Yea but i do not think rushing out quiet yet and Winky i think is a middle wieght again i think b hop was a one time thing he did not look in to good of shape at light heavyweight Winky would be good but a young undefeated IBF champion who looked good in his last fights might be a better choice i could be wrong but i think Abraham should be his next fight then Winky, Taylor, or Hopkins can be the next opponent but we will wait and see

At this point, I'd like to see Pavlik fight anybody, because, as is to be expected, after the Taylor fight there's incredible amounts of hype surrounding the guy, which we don't know is founded, or realistic. I have misgivings, however, about a fight with Hopkins. It's my personal opinion that he's a boring fighter. He racks up points rather than inflict damage and charges in headfirst (literally). His head's down when he throws punches, and there's too much clinching. He makes for a very boring fight, in my opinion. Wright looked pretty bad against Hopkins, but I still think he'd be a more interesting opponent for Pavlik (at a lower weight).

boring? He knocks people out! I mean if you think he could use a little more technique well ok, but if you are regularly putting people to sleep I'd say your anything but boring.
