Actually on watching the fight again (now my 3rd time!!) Im inclined to agree with you. Barrera was competing but never at any stage trying to completely win the fight...which is odd if you are seeing Barrera fight.

It doesnt help that Barrera's corner is telling him they are up 3 to 0 after 3 rounds. That is bollocks and they kept feeding him that. But they did tell him to pick it up eventually and he instead faded down the stretch.

A weird fight and one that Im really not comfortable with. At least the Marquez fight saw a real live Barrera...here its as though he quietly slipped from view. I find that difficult.
