As a fan of Reids im excited that hes getting an opportunity to fight Carl at his most beatable, hes not completed 5 rounds in the last 17 months has been out for 8 months and is coming back from knee surgery

Robin knows how to spoil and be rough, he knows how to pace himself

This is a dangerous fight for Carl because of Reids proved class, Carl will not be sharp and this will let Reid get in to it early, this will help Robin get in a rythm.

Maybe Carl should have taken the adamu rematch

As Frochs manager you would have to be concerened with whoever he is fighting at this delecate point in his career, Robin isnt a soft touch

Lacy was doing ok against him for the first 5 rounds but it was an ilegal shot that started Reids downfall in that fight, so as a fan i can take Robin going down like he did with a pinch of salt, any fighter who gets hit full blown with a right hook by Jeff Lacy while looking away will go down
Im not frustrated to be honest because hes building himself into a better fighter, showing us that he is a very good power puncher and the determination on his is outstanding. I know that he should have maybe had better opposition but at the end of the day what can he do other than fight the person whos put in front of him? The way you are talking about Reid is making him sound like a decent fighter, so whats ure problem then? I think after this fight if Froch gets through it he will fight a harder fighter and then get his shot at the WBC title.
