Missy and Bruce,have either of you actually seen Sal Sanchez fight? Do you know who he beat? He was a boxer. He was a puncher. His jab. His combinations. His head movement. He beat monstrous monstrous punchers like Wilfredo Gomez,Danny Lopez,he beat a future great Azumah Nelson(whom Sanchez under estimated),he beat established fighters like Pat Cowdell,Ruben Castillo etc. That is a great legacy and had he been alove,he still would have continued but none the less,a great legacy all the same.

And Bruce,Manny has some way to go before his legacy matches Morales and MAB. Just because you beat someone does not mean you have a greater legacy than them.

Sanchez was a class act no doubt Gamo, but unfortubately his legacy is limited by what he got the chance to achieve. We can only judge him on what we saw, and although that was great it wasn't the greatest of Featherweight History. (its not his fault he's comparable to Pep either)

He beat more ATG than most fighters have in our era.
